See exactly what's happening in your drains
A CCTV drain survey is the fastest, least disruptive way to find the cause of a drainage problem, or to confirm that a system is sound. As a result, we can diagnose on camera, report clearly, and — where repairs are needed — fix the fault without digging wherever possible.
What is a CCTV drain survey?
A CCTV drain survey is a camera inspection of your underground drains and sewers. We feed a waterproof, self-levelling camera through the pipework and record its exact condition on video. As a result, we can locate, measure and code every defect precisely — without any digging.
Our drainage services
From camera surveys and homebuyer reports to unblocking, relining and collapsed-drain repair, we cover the whole job. As a result, you get everything you need from one team.

- 01
Access & set-up
First, we locate a suitable access point — usually an inspection chamber — and prepare the camera crawler or push rod. Because the right entry point matters, we choose it carefully before any footage begins.
- 02
Camera inspection
Next, the camera travels the full pipe run and records its condition, gradient and defects in high resolution. Meanwhile, our surveyor watches the live feed and flags anything that needs a closer look.
- 03
Defect coding
We then log every observation against WRc/MSCC standards, noting its distance along the pipe and its severity. This coding turns raw footage into a report insurers and lenders recognise.
- 04
Report & advice
Finally, you receive the footage and a clear report, usually the same day. Alongside it, we set out prioritised recommendations so you know exactly what to do next.
How much does a drain survey cost?
There's no single price, because the exact cost depends on the size and accessibility of your system and the type of survey you need. We quote every job up front, with no obligation — send us your postcode for a clear, fixed-price quote.

Areas we cover
As a national brand, we cover major UK cities and the surrounding areas. Find your city below, or get in touch with your postcode and we will confirm.
London
London's mix of Victorian sewers, period housing and dense modern development makes drainage problems both common and complex. Old clay pipes, shared drains and tree-lined streets are a recipe for root ingress, cracks and recurring blockages.
Drain surveys in London →Birmingham
From Victorian terraces to post-war estates and new-build suburbs, Birmingham's varied housing means equally varied drainage. Camera surveys cut through the uncertainty and tell you exactly what is below ground.
Drain surveys in Birmingham →Manchester
Manchester's dense Victorian terraces and rapid new development put real strain on drainage. A CCTV survey is the quickest way to find the cause of a problem in older shared systems.
Drain surveys in Manchester →Glasgow
Glasgow's tenements and sandstone terraces often share complex below-ground drainage. Camera surveys remove the guesswork when problems arise in these older, interconnected systems.
Drain surveys in Glasgow →Leeds
Leeds combines back-to-back terraces, suburban semis and new development — each with its own drainage quirks. A camera survey gives you a definitive answer fast.
Drain surveys in Leeds →Liverpool
Liverpool's Victorian terraces and historic housing stock often hide ageing clay drains. A CCTV survey reveals their true condition without any digging.
Drain surveys in Liverpool →Edinburgh
Edinburgh's tenements, Georgian terraces and conservation areas demand careful, non-destructive drainage diagnosis. Camera surveys deliver exactly that.
Drain surveys in Edinburgh →Sheffield
Sheffield's hilly terrain and older housing put particular demands on drainage. A CCTV survey pinpoints falls, blockages and damage that the gradient can hide.
Drain surveys in Sheffield →Bristol
Bristol's Victorian terraces, harbourside conversions and hilly suburbs create a wide range of drainage challenges. Camera surveys cut straight to the cause.
Drain surveys in Bristol →Leicester
Leicester's blend of Victorian terraces and suburban housing sits on clay-heavy ground that moves with the seasons — a frequent cause of cracked and displaced drains.

How much does a CCTV drain survey cost?
There is no single price, because the cost depends on whether it is a standard residential survey, a homebuyer survey or a commercial job, and on the size and accessibility of the system. Send us your postcode and we will give you a clear, fixed-price quote.
Do you cover my area?
We operate as a national brand covering major UK cities and the surrounding areas. However, if you are unsure, check our Locations page or get in touch with your postcode and we will confirm.
Will I need to dig anything up?
Not to diagnose a problem, because surveys work through existing access points. And when repairs are needed, we use no-dig methods such as relining wherever the pipe allows.
Can you repair a drain without digging?
Often, yes. Because many faults can be fixed from inside the pipe using relining or a localised patch repair, your drive, garden and floors stay intact. As a result, it usually costs less than excavation too.
How quickly will I get my report?
We deliver most survey reports the same day, including footage and WRc/MSCC-coded findings. Because the report is ready so fast, you can act on it straight away.
Do you offer emergency drainage?
Our published hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm. However, for urgent flooding, sewage backing up or a complete blockage, get in touch and we will arrange the fastest available response in your area.
Need a drain survey or repair?
Tell us what you need and where you are, and we will come back with a clear price and the earliest available appointment. Because we quote every job individually, you only pay for the work your drains actually need.
